This is the easiest and best way to make brown rice.
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups brown rice, medium or short grain
2 1/2 cups chicken broth
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1 teaspoon kosher salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1: Move rack to middle position and pre-heat oven to 375 degrees
Step 2: Add rice to 8-inch square baking dish
Step 3: In a small sauce pan, bring water, butter, and salt a soft boil.
Step 4: Pour over rice and stir
Step 5: Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour
Step 6: Remove foil and fluff with fork (caution steam may rise)
